Born in the robust Northwest, in Tacoma, Washington, I always knew I loved the great outdoors. Over the years, I have enjoyed living and being a land and ranch real estate agent in Colorado, California and Missouri.
My passion for horses all began with the purchase of my first sport-horse, Finnigan, a Hunter/Jumper in 1996.
Years of training and the care of horses has given me the opportunity to understand the needs and desires of my equestrian clients, who are horse people like me. This was the start of a career specializing in equestrian real estate.
I founded California Equestrian Properties in 1998 to serve the equestrian community with my passion and commitment. I have come to master my clients’ and their horses’ needs. In serving in the acquisition and the sale of many types of horse-oriented properties, estate homes, boarding/breeding/training, and equestrian centers.

A native Californian, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University, obtained my California Real Estate Broker’s License, and launched an investment real estate firm in San Diego. Pursuing my love of the industry, I became an adjunct instructor in real estate classes at community colleges and universities, earned a MBA in Real Estate from National University and a Doctor of Business Administration from United States International University. In this capacity, I created curricula and hired instructors and occasionally taught advanced real estate courses. Earning a Certified Commercial-Investment Member (CCIM) designation, the highest title available from the National Association of Realtors for those in the commercial and income property specialty, remains an honor.
As the president of corporations, I have overseen the construction of office buildings and developed land ranging from a single commercial building lot up to a 1,500-acre master planned community.
